LAKE PALESTINE FISHING REPORT

Catfishing’s excellent! Blues and Channel cats are in big globs in the river channel and near rocks by the bridges. They are biting on shad and stink bait and worms.
Other catfish can be in the shallows on rocks, stumps, etc. You can catch catfish day and night. Cool mornings and late evenings are going to get you a faster bite. You should be able to limit-out on Lake Palestine.
Crappie are about 12 - 20 feet deep, and I’m catching them on rosies and minnows.
Make sure you know the boat lanes since the water level is at its end of season low.
