Great staff! Simple quiet fun!

Absolutely love it. Quiet. Great place for family. Its not a party zone. All the people are friendly but not overly friendly to the point that you dread seeing them go by.

Very nice people. Nice boat docks and they rent golf carts which made it so much easier to transport our son and wheelchair. Very nice bathroom and clean. Nice store and you cannot beat their hospitality. Very patriotic and everyone were nice to everyone. Beautiful place. We would visit again.

Flat Creek Marina and RV park is a hidden gem on Lake Palestine. The park offers full 30/50 amp hookups and has amazing views of the lake from the little “island”. The sites are not overly close to each other, which was nice. We had plenty of space to setup camp. The restrooms/ shower/ laundry area is new and is kept super clean, it is a little bit of a walk from the island, but we were able to rent a golf cart which was very convenient. They do have a little store at the Marina which offers many items from drinks to snacks, bait, fishing licenses etc, this was also great for our daily routine of getting ice. The staff though, All were amazing and so very friendly and helpful with everything that we needed and wanted.. The park is very peaceful and is very well maintained, sure the marina gets busy on the weekends, but this should be expected and did not find it a disruption to our camping. It is also gated and is closed each night. They have and are continuing to make upgrades to this park. I can’t wait to see the end result. This is the perfect place to get a way from it all. But If you’re looking to get away from camp, make the drive into Chandler and visit Nettie’s Kitchen for an amazing breakfast (I’m a huge fan of their buttery hash browns and chicken fried steak) which they serve only Thursday-Sunday but are open the rest of the days for lunch and dinner or visit Wade’s that is by the country store.. they have some amazing seafood but serve burgers too. We love the park and the area, can’t wait to come back!

Beautiful RV park and a great day fishing spot as well! The store is stocked well and a fun spot to browse. One might think it would contain fishing items only but there is truly something for everyone. The owners are a joy. You can tell they truly care about their patrons by the calm serene environment that they and their staff maintain. A true hidden gem on the lake!

Loved the place, the people were very nice and helpful. I love the store had everything I forgot. Can't wait to come back this summer!

Great place back right up to the lake. Jack was great help clock out to help me with my tow dolly. Let me know we're to fish. We will be back again next year. Everyone in the office was nice and helpful. Thank you for the great hospitality.

My family and I just spent 3 days there. Friendly folks, nice size lots, park showers/restrooms clean. I loved that my grandkids could swim right at our site. Will definitely go again

Jim and Jennie are amazing! Great place to bring the family and awesome place to go crappie fishing. Fishing, cleaning station, Camping, Rv and all the extras. Said they will be getting either kayaks or paddle boats soon! Excited for that and can't wait! Thanks guys!

We keep our boat here. We are there often. Everyone is always pleasant and the view of the lake is wonderful.

I love it there. Hoping when I go back I can stay for the rest of my life. Everyone seems like we are all family. The owners are wonderful people. Great place for swimming and fishing and going out in my daughter & her hubbys boat for the day. If you're looking for a safe and fun place, look no further ITS HERE. 💯❤️

This is a Special Place. Whatever you do don’t come here unless you want total serenity. I really want the place for ourselves but that wouldn’t be fair. Give them a chance because this place is nice. We stayed while looking for a lake house and enjoyed our time immensely. Try Hits The Spot Barbecue too. You’ll be pleased.

We reserved a spot and once we arrived we realized that with our 42' camper we'd have a really hard time getting into our reserved spot, especially with the amount of rain and mud that the owners definitely could not help, so they graciously and quickly gave us another spot that worked out perfectly. They even stayed and helped guide me backing into the site with the substantial rain we've been having and the mud it caused. The spot we switched to ended up being an awesome site and actually much better in my opinion than the original one I reserved. They were very kind and helpful from our first contact, which they replied to very quickly, and at check-in, to the site switch as well. Jennifer even took the time to call later that evening to check on us and the new site. We have much appreciated our stay thus far with the site, the lake, the fishing, and I'm positive we will upon our departure as well.

all I can say is the people are very pleasant to deal with, its clean, safe, secure.

This is a great place on Lake Palestine!! New marina, new boat launch and new RV spots!! They also have really cool 2 seater boats to rent.

Spent a week camping there had an awesome time

Super friendly staff. Boat ramp on site. Avoid spot I-19. It's too small for almost 1 van and no room around it. I-65 is a great spot. Great view over the lake. There is no shared shower and bathroom building so you need everything on your RV. Full hookups are great. 50,30,110 electric and water.

My husband and I stayed here for our first trip after purchasing a travel trailer. Not only was the stay beautiful with water in each side of us, the fishing was good, people were friendly and it had everything we needed. Easy set up and parking! Met the owners as we were leaving and they were great along with all of the staff. It is only 20 minutes from where we live, but felt like a home away from home! We will be staying here again!

Stayed a month with my husband and two kids. We loved it! Wish we could’ve stayed longer, it’s quiet ,spacious slots, clean, it’s really a nice place to getaway. Plus we caught a lot crappie!!

We just stayed 3 days at Flat Creek Marina. Good stuff. It's only 7 miles from my house, but seems like a lot more because your secluded in a beautiful spot for a camper. Beautiful sunrise and sunset, lots of fish. This morning when we left, there was a flock of pelicans on the lake.... absolutely beautiful. I'm sorry I didn't get any pictures, but come take some for yourself. The Kellogg family as well as the Mayor, Jim Cox, make sure you feel welcome and have everything you need. A well stocked country store, bait, fish cleaning station, and restroom/shower facilities are all very clean and inviting. For a couple of days or a month at a time, this is great camping.

We enjoyed our RV stay on the island facing the lake! The customer service was very friendly. Be aware that it was very windy on the point and there were plenty of bugs. But the view and location made it all worth it! If the wind might bother you, try booking a site on the island that is across from the boat launch.

Walkability: It is a small campground, so it's easy to take a stroll around. We also walked the neighborhood that leads into the campground.

GREAT PLACE. Been there twice and going again Labor Day. A great family place friendly place. I have always dealt with Jennifer on the phone, my husband does check in . She is very friendly and great to deal with. My only regret is I have to come home

Peaceful and relaxing. Good swimming area for the kids to swim.

Very nice and clean. The marina was busy and well kept.

Hooked the largest crappie of my time on a very small minnow from the marina called a "Rosie". The only problem was that I was fishing ultra light tackle and didn't get a good hook set and the fish threw the hook right at the net. I just wish I hadn't seen how big the fish was...I'll be looking for it a long time to come.

Just made our first ever trip to Lake Palestine. We are frequent Whitney boaters, but with it flooded, needed another option. So glad we came, and worked with Jennifer who is a dream. Not kidding about waterfront!! Also enjoyed the 50 amp electric hook up. All things work better and not so scared to have two somethings on at the same time. Met other nice employees/residents during their evening stroll. A great place to visit.

My family recently got our first RV and decided to go to Flat Creek Marina for our first overnight, since we live in Tyler. My husband ended up stuck in the mud the next morning trying to pull our trailer out and luckily (and graciously) the owners were able to pull us out and give us first timers some much needed advice and pointers. We are so grateful for their kindness as well as their great hospitality. Park was clean, our spot was perfect, with a great view of the lake. We will definitely be returning soon!

We had the privilege to stay there this weekend, extremely relaxing, wonderful spot for a weekend get away, peaceful and quiet. The new owners, were very friendly and took the time to show us around, I can see us visiting often to relax and put the phones down....

We love staying at Flat Creek. Everyone is so nice and friendly. We feel at home here. One of our favorite places and we love the new upgrades.

Everybody at the store seem to go out of their way to help especially the older gentleman that was the veteran was a charm in Pleasant to talk to and visit can't wait to go back and and see if they do even more because everything there is all brand new and see if they do even more because everything there is all brand new
